haircut
Filed under: in my life — Serene @ 3:05 am

finally had to go for haircut today…
i was very scared at first…cos they are japanese, dunno how to communicate
but fortunately, they are very patient and polite, trying very hard to understand how i want my hair cut.
so in the end, the result was quite good, and i’m happy with their service.
cost me 45 bucks *sweat*

dim sum & authentic taiwanese food
Filed under: food — Serene @ 11:50 pm

after having ç³–æ°´ yesterday at richmond, this morning went into richmond again to have dim sum!
haha really everyday going to richmond man…
the dim sum was not bad…i love big ha kao, char siew bao and egg tarts!
after that we went for ktv AGAIN la, yes my life is pretty boring eh?
but i’ve decided that Di Da Di karaoke is much better than K歌之王 actually
the all you can sing hours for weekends are longer and the sound system is better too
then fergus brought us to some ulu ulu small road to eat authentic taiwanese food
it’s such a cosy place…looks like their own house, then they open up the living room and dining room and convert it into a tiny restaurant
we had 紅糟肉, 豆皮, some meatball soup and a few other dishes, the whole feeling is like eating at home like that…love it!

these few days so used to timothy having a car to drive us around…think we will really miss it after returning :(

steveston village
Filed under: food — Serene @ 6:40 pm

drove down to steveston village today
it’s a nice place! like white rock, there’s the sea, and lots of fish and chips stores on the coast…
we ate at the famous fish and chips store called Pajo’s. they serve fish and chips in a paper cone:

the fish and chips are great man! fresh and crispy…

these places are perfect to retire…so relaxing
