finally the apartment is totally tidied up so i took some pictures for you guys

the living room…i love the sofa!!! a sofa really makes a place feel more cosy, don’t u think the place looks more like a home than before?

my “bedroom”, it’s pretty much the same except the table and bed is on different sides now

basically i love everything about my new apartment more…it is cleaner, quieter, more secure etc etc etc
only thing is that i have to walk further now…so that means i should lose some weight before coming back to singapore HAHA

as you can see…i have to walk a longer distance to reach the train station now…

so i’ve found out there is a new donut shop in singapore…hehe…

anyone tried this yet??? anyway i’m definitely gonna get my hands on it in april!!!
(if the shop hasn’t close down yet…hehehe)

tonight we tried a cheaper $15 menu.
previously, i dined at this place before, their pasta was quite nice and the ambience was good too
and since it was cheap, felt that it was worth it to try what they have to offer during dine out

appetizers:


West Coast Cioppino – Salt Spring Mussels, BC Halibut Cheeks,Clams & Prawns in a tomato broth
i had this one and it was REALLY GOOD!!!!! omg!!! the seafood was fresh and the broth was tasty!!! finished the whole cup!

Crab Cakes with Ancho Chili and Lime Aioli
their famous crab cakes, it was SO much better than the cat’s meow one, more crab taste in this one and the sauce complimented the crab cakes well

entrées:

Beef Sirloin Tips – with Moroccan Spices, Tomatoes, Sundried Cranberries and served with Cous Cous
i didn’t try this, but my friend said it’s not that good, tasted like Beef Rendang

Apple-Glazed Breast of Chicken – Stuffed with Ham & Extra Aged White Cheddar, served with Potato and Vegetables
i had this entrée, it was okie, the chicken was flavourful, but didn’t really blow me away

dessert:

Chocolate Mousse with Candied Kumquats and Whipping Cream
this was quite good! before eating it i was afraid that mousse is gonna make me feel quite gelat and i wouldn’t be able to finish it, but the kumquats kinda neutralized it, making the overall taste not overly sweet

finished off with a pot of orange pekoe tea…very gd dinner! very very happy today!!!
although it’s the cheapest menu but it didn’t disappoint me!

all our stuff packed and good to go!!!
