been enjoying my 3 week “getaway” in sunny singapore!

haven’t been updating much cos the laptop was sitting at the toshiba service centre, waiting to be “saved”

the past weeks have been jam-packed,
the KL trip wasn’t that good, boring stuff, but it was nice hanging out with family again
went for the fish leong concert, wasn’t impressive, but i definitely still respect her for that voice and all she has worked hard for to get to where she is at right now
days are spent lunching and dining with friends and relatives (3 weeks is just too short!!!)
meeting up with the sudirman twins was especially exciting for me since we haven’t saw each other since the melbourne trip in 05! great that we always end up chatting and laughing about silly stuff just like before
on a side note, another exciting thing is that, this winter, it will be my first time stepping into a studio and make an attempt to record a piece of original work.
really am glad that hanxiang and biru managed to finish this song in time for me to record while i’m in singapore
and more importantly, this is pretty important to us; an idea that started off as a casual dream, became a real piece of work
i would be lying if i said i wasn’t stressed at all, do singers have the largest burden actually?
the music and lyrics could be so well written, but a trashy singer could totally destroy the work
i hope i don’t end up being that trashy singer
