i haven’t posted pictures of food for a longggg time!
anyway, i guess i kicked the habit

but the fondue i had tonight was just so pretty, i had to take a picture of it.

the set up was so beautiful, it was such a waste eating it!
but there was one really weird thing i noticed i had never experienced before in having fondue was…
they actually had mandarin oranges in there???
mandarin orange and chocolate…??? that’s a weird pairing.

a dose of chinese new year!

one of my boss’s client asked me the other day if i celebrated chinese new year, she’s white btw
i was surprised that she knew what it was.
anyway, i explained to her that it was kind of like christmas u know, gather as a family etc.
so her first reaction was “oh! that sounds great! do you guys exchange presents too?!”
and then i thought about it and said…”oh no…we don’t, we exchange CASH”
what struck me was…i wonder if she thinks chinese people are really money-minded now???!
oh well…i think that shows our nature so well actually =p
